We sponsor local events and transportation to the Sunday afternoon Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Masterworks and Pops series concerts in Little Rock. A list of theses events is below with links to register or purchase tickets. All Guild ticket sales are non-refundable.  If you purchased tickets to a program at the Woodlands and find you can't attend, please contact the Woodlands Ticket office so they can help match you with someone on the waiting list for tickets.  If you lost your tickets or did not receive your tickets for an event at the Woodlands, please contact the Woodlands Ticket office.  The ticket office email address is woodlandsaud@hsvpoa.org and the phone number is 501-922-4231.  If the program is not at the Woodlands, please contact us at info@symphonyguild.org for assistance.

    After a short Guild annual meeting enjoy music brought to us by the best of our state’s talented youth. The concert is free to attend.

    Both the Academy and Youth Orchestras will be performing.  Tom McDonald is a violinist with the ASO and conducts the Academy Orchestra. The Academy Orchestra is the intermediate level ensemble with a full complement of strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Entrance is by audition only. String players must demonstrate facility above 1st position and in keys up to 4 sharps and 4 flats. Woodwind and Brass players must be at the level to make All-Region Band and Orchestra.

    The Youth Orchestra is conducted by Gabriel Bruce. Mr Bruce currently serves as orchestra director at Mills University Studies High School and Mills Middle School in Pulaski County, and has previously taught orchestra in the Pine Bluff schools in Arkansas, where he also served as music director of the Pine Bluff Symphony Youth Orchestra.

     The Youth Orchestra consists of the most advanced string, woodwind, brass and percussion players from around the state. Entrance is by audition only and for those whose audition demonstrates familiarity with advanced techniques, in order to perform the standard orchestra repertoire.  Musicians in this group consistently place at the top of the All-State Band and Orchestra Competition and are leaders in their schools and communities.

    We invite you to a evening where we celebrate the gift of music that brings us so much joy through the course of each year.

    Our evening begins at the Balboa Baptist Church Outreach Center where we will be treated to a wonderful dinner catered by the popular Riverside Catering. We can then relax and enjoy an outstanding musical experience performed by the Ouachita Baptist University music department. They will perform 2 or 3 vignettes of the best songs from “Hello Dolly”, the “Best of Tiger Tune Productions”, and other musical treats. It will be an entertainment filled, fast paced musical experience performed by a very talented group of vocalists and instrumentalists from this great university.


    This event happens on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 5:30PM at the Balboa Baptist Outreach Center, 415 Ponce De Leon Drive, Hot Springs Village. The cost for this fun filled evening is only $35. You may also purchase show only tickets for $20. The show will start at 6:45 PM. Dinner/show tickets need to be purchased prior to the evening by registering on our website (your email confirmation is your ticket) or at the Balboa Baptist Outreach Center. Show only tickets are available in advance by registering on our website or may be purchased at the door on the night of the performance.

    The Symphony Guild sponsors transportation to the ASO Sunday afternoon Masterworks concerts using the The Village Chauffer. 

    If you would like a ride to the Masterworks VI concert on Sunday May 4, please register for this event by Friday May 2. The Village Chauffer will depart the parking lot of the Lake Forest Senior Living Campus at 121 Cortez Road at 12:45 PM and will arrive back at approximately 6 PM. Transportation to an individual concert is $45 round trip.

    You may pay by credit card when you register. If you prefer to pay by check, please mail your check payable to the HSV Symphony Guild to HSV Symphony Guild, P.O. Box 8354, Hot Springs Village, AR 71910. We will not be accepting payment on the bus.

    If you would like a ride to the Circus at the Symphony concert on Sunday May 11, please register for this event by Friday May 9.     Please join us for our Lakeside Beach Party at the Balboa Pavilion on May 29, 2025. The $30 ticket provides dinner and entertainment. The party is BYOB, or beer and wine will be available for a small donation. Funds from this event will assist the HS/HSV Symphony Guild in providing and advancing music education for students in the greater Hot Springs Area. The evening will also offer a wine pull and raffle or silent auction items. 

    Tickets are $30 per person and attendance is limited. Tickets are available for purchase online by clicking here. You may also purchase tickets in person at the POA ticket office in the Ouachita Building at the Ponce De Leon Center.

    As we reported in February, the Ozark Music Festival is the successor to the Hot Springs Music Festival (HSMF). In honor of the HSMF legacy, the Ozark Music Festival will present a special run-out concert at the Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village on Saturday, June 21 at 3:00 p.m. The concert will feature the Ozark Music Festival Orchestra under the baton of Sunny Xia, Associate Conductor of the Seattle Symphony.

    The program will include Respighi’s Fountains of Rome, Ravel’s La valse, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. Tickets are available by clicking here or by visiting the POA ticket office at Ponce de Leon center. 

    The Ozark Music Festival will welcome approximately 20 professional classical musicians and 100 college-aged musicians to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for a two-week intensive orchestral training experience. The Ozark Music Festival is June 10-22, 2025 in Fayetteville, AR.
