Welcome to the Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village (HS/HSV) Symphony Guild. Incorporated in 1986, our Guild has grown to be one of the largest Guilds in the nation. Although it offers its membership entertainment programs, it is primarily a philanthropic organization - providing support for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and promoting music education in schools located in Garland County and helping students master their craft. The Guild is undeniably the largest philanthropic organization focused specifically on promoting music education in our local schools.
The Guild's three-pronged Mission is a critical factor in retaining and attracting members and garnering financial support. Our members are not only interested in good programming, but are keenly interested in advancing music education, a critical component of the academic curriculum. As a member, you have advance purchase opportunities for our events and a variety of volunteer opportunities furthering music education.
The Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony guild is a member of the Hot Springs Village Arts Council.
We raise funds through our dues and special events to create opportunities for children in the greater Hot Springs area to have music in their lives. While achievement is important, we feel that all children should feel the joy of hearing live music and learning to sing or play an instrument. Joy sparks the imagination and allows them to become more creative in all aspects of their lives.
We have several programs that address the need in different ways: Scholarships for future music educators as they enter college, the annual Children's Concert at the Bank of the Ozarks Arena in Hot Springs, scholarships for area students to summer music camps, grants for essential equipment to area schools, as well as supporting our Arts Partners programs, "Orchestra and You" and "Band and You".
Bus transportation is available from the Village for the ASO Sunday Afternoon Masterworks Concert Series. You may buy a subscription for the bus for a discount or you may pay for each trip individually when you board the bus.
